These masters level skills have evolved to help to meet community, regional and provincial health care mandates that are Indigenous specific and prevention focused. In October 2018, she launched a 12-week anger management program that supported the principles of trauma informed care in an adult residential addictions treatment program.

In October 2018, she launched a 12-week anger management program that supported the principles of trauma informed care in an adult residential addictions treatment program. .As an experienced clinician, Brenda was designated to lead mental health supports during a long period of loss by suicide, provide clinical intervention and assessment skills and provide recommendations for capacity development in crisis team management.Brenda's unique cultural, working and educational experiences brings nuances to meaning making within the context of relationship building and materials are presented in a solution-focused manner.
